The solution key to assignment #10 is now available.
Second exam information
- When: Tuesday November 24, 2008 regular class exam: 9:30am (lec.1) or 11am (lec.2)
- Where:
  Lecture 2: 2241 Chamberlin as usual.
  Lecture 1, A-L: 121 Psychology (usual classroom) for students with last name starting with A-L.
  Lecture 1, M-Z: 222 Ingraham for students with last name starting with M-Z.
- Material covered: all material covered in assignments 6 through 10. In the N&C text, that is: chapters 7-11 (excluding contrasts in chap.11), boxplots from chapter 2 and chi-square test (2x2) from chapter 13. In the W&S text, this material is found in chapters 3 (boxplots), 4, 6, 7, 9 (2x2 χ-square tests), 12, 13 and 15. Material in the textbook that was not covered in lecture or in assignments is not to be expected.
- What to bring: textbook, tables (normal, T, chi-square, F distributions, Mann-whitney test), calculator with batteries. Open book/open notes exam, but laptops not allowed. You may certainly bring a formula sheet.
- Extra 5 minutes: Exams will be distributed 5 minutes before starting time (i.e. at 9:25/10:55am) for your perusal. Writing will not be allowed until the regular class time (9:30/11am). You can take these few minutes to select the problems to do first, for better time management.
