Butterfly Displays

Note: All of the following displays are completely original works of art. They were designed and created by yours truly, using legally imported specimens obtained from legitimate, licensed sellers, in documented compliance with US Fish and Wildlife Service and CITES regulations. Moreover, from an ethical standpoint, it is gratifying to recognize that indigenous peoples of the world's rainforests are increasingly turning to the breeding and farming of exotic butterflies (and other insects) for museums and collectors as their source of income, rather than relying on massive logging operations or other environmentally destructive practices. (See IFTA, for example.) A portion of these hand-raised butterflies are returned to the wild in carefully controlled conservation efforts to preserve, maintain and restore the populations of threatened and endangered species.
