Request Procedure
The Statistics Department computing services is integrated with the Computer Sciences
Computing services. Most of the information on the
Computer Systems Lab web pages will apply to the Department of Statistics as well. A major
difference is the request procedure. If you can not find an answer to your question on the
Department of Statistics web pages, the CSL web pages or through man pages please follow these procedures.
1) Send application questions to the Department of Statistics Computing Forum
(stat-forum@stat.wisc.edu)
2)Send technical system problems to Department of Statistics Computing
staff (lab@stat.wisc.edu)
3) If your request is sent to the
lab@stat.wisc.edu your request will be given a number [CSL #XXXXX]. Any correspondence regarding
this request must be mailed to lab@cs.wisc.edu, keeping the subject line just as it appears.
