Courses under 600 are appropriate for undergraduates, although many graduates in other degree programs take courses above 300. Courses above 700, plus 641 and 642, are appropriate for graduate degrees in statistics. Courses above 700 generally require a year-long sequence in mathematical statistics as prerequisite.
