The Department of Statistics offers free tutoring service for students,
in the introductory courses Statistics 201, 224, 301, 324 and 371, who
might need some additional help beyond the regular lecture and discussion sections.
Generally in the Fall and Spring semesters, tutoring is available during the
hours of 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday starting the third week
of classes. (See Tutorial Lab Hours). The
Tutorial Lab is located in Room 4185 Medical Science Center (1300 University
Ave.). For the Fall semester the tutorial program begins on Thursday, September
16 and will continue through Wednesday, December 15 and is closed during Thanksgiving
break (November 25, 2004).
This service permits students in the introductory Statistics courses to obtain
extra help.
